I'm a big fan of The Body Shop. I love their products and I like their philosophy of no animal testing, supporting fair trade and protecting the planet. So I was really surprised when I ran into a Boots representative at Target and she recommended their version of the Mango Body Butter. I was at Target to buy other things, but my intention was to head to The Body Shop for their Mango Body Butter. These Santa Ana winds we are having in California are really drying out my skin. The Boots rep convinced me to try the mini version. At $3.99 I thought, "it won't hurt to try".
It turns out that I love it! It's very moisturizing and the scent is so fresh and wonderful. It doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. When I use it, my daughter grabs my hands and says "Mommy you smell good!"
But I didn't want to give up on The Body Shop, so I went in and tried their tester of mango body butter and was really shocked to find out, I don't like it as well.
Now I have to head back to Target to get the large version of the Boots body butter. My mini one is down to the last drop!
But don't worry, I still love The Body Shop. I'll return to get some of those luscious new Colour Crush Lipsticks they have. Unfortunately it will be hard to narrow it down to one shade.
